Dweep is an undergraduate research assistant at ASIL working across two projects.
Research Focus
Under the Precision Imaging and Targets Lab (The PIT) at UNB, Dweep contributes to a LiDAR-based research project developing methods to compute the 3D geometric centers of calibration targets from point cloud data, validated against ground truth from professional total-station surveys. The work supports rigorous target-based sensor calibration for photogrammetric and geodetic applications.
He also contributes to ASIL’s ongoing research on thermal 3D modeling of buildings, combining thermal imagery with photogrammetric techniques to support building energy analysis and digital twin development.
Alongside research, Dweep leads administrative and technical work on the ASIL lab website, maintaining publications, member profiles, and content across the site.
